Nebulizer is a process in which we cross reference the qualities of air shear with the qualities of air blast.
The Nebulizer vine sprayers use ducted air channels - whilst relying on the jet to create the droplet size you are able to adjust the output and the desired micron size by using varied pressure and different sized nozzles.
This allows you to achieve anywhere from 50 micron up to 400 microns allowing successfully spraying in many conditions. This also allows you to control damage caused by drift.
What sets the Nebulizer vine sprayers aside from others is its ability to maintain regular droplets - from 50 to 1000 litres per hectare whilst still running 360kmh air speed to create sufficient turbulence. The air speed can also be altered whist doing cover sprays because it has no bearing on droplet size or output of the machine.
The fan design uses a 470mm turbine fan with double blades, which produces more air from less horsepower hence reducing wear and excessive horsepower requirements.
A pressure pump is used to ensure adequate agitation and allow efficent spray calibration (as opposed to roller pump).
Use of chemical filter - mixer units may also be used due to pressure being available. The components used are inexpensive and require little maintenance.
Penetration:
"Impossible" rootstock canopies are penetrated accurately by the swirling action.
Accuracy:
No fluting (as with airshear machines) holds micron size to 4000/LT per H/R.
Low Maintenance:
Simple gearbox drive and diaphragm pump, no belts or plastic pumps.
Low Horsepower:
50 PTO Horsepower required to operate
